Jeffrey enjoyed an extensive indoor programme in the first couple of months in 2007.

He set a new indoors personal best in the 60m of 6.77 secs when finishing fourth at the South East Championships, finished sixth in the AAA's semi-finals in Sheffield in 6.82 secs and fourth in the Northern Irish Championships in 6.79 secs.

In the 200m, Jeffrey clocked 21.36 secs when finishing second in the South East England Championships, 21.22 secs, a new PB, when finsihing third in the AAA's in Sheffield, and 21.62 secs when finishing second in the Northern Ireland Champs in Belfast.

The highlight of Jeffrey's year to date was being selected for the Great Britain relay squad at the Crystal Palace Grand Prix meeting and although he didn’t get a run out that day, he did set new personal bests in both the 100m and 200m when clocking 10.51 secs in Bratislava in early June and 20.86 secs in the 200m at Bedford in late May – Jeffrey went on to win the final in 20.94 secs.

At the South East Championships in June Jeffrey finished third in the 100m in 10.77 secs and a week later he also finished third in the 200m at the National Junior Championships, clocking 21.40 secs. He finished seventh in the semi-finals of the 200m at the European Juniors in Debrecen, Hungary, before finishing fifth in both the semi-finals of the 100m and 200m at the UK National Championships in Manchester at the end of July.

Young sprinter Jeffrey began senior competition in 2006 and completed a full programme of 100m and 200m races.

Highlights included setting a new 100m personal best of 10.58 secs whilst on his way to finishing seventh in the South East England Championships in mid-June, winning in 10.64 secs in Kingston, finishing seventh in the Junior AAA's in Beford in 10.68 secs, collecting a bronze in the SE England 200m in 21.55 secs, setting a new personal best of 21.44 secs in Kingston, and earning a bronze at the Junior AAA's in Bedford in 21.70 secs.
